Launching of the National Climate Change Mitigation Plan (PLANMICC)- Climate Commitment 2024-2070

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition has made the official presentation to the public of the National Climate Change Mitigation Plan (PLANMICC) which, within the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction scenario called “Climate Commitment 2070”, contemplates a 70% reduction in emissions causing climate change in 2070, with respect to the Trend Scenario in that same year.

Moving towards electric last-mile logistics

Productive meetings have been held with logistics companies like Grupo Entregas and other members of ASEMEC, including Laar Courier, Servientrega, DHL, and Urbano Express, to understand their operational needs.

Inception Workshop Launches E-MOVILIZA Project

On June 4, the Inception Workshop took place at the National Polytechnic School of Ecuador, gathering key representatives from public and private entities.

Guiding the project forward

Comprising representatives from MEM, MAATE, MTOP, PNUMA, and UEMI, the first meeting was held where the project was presented, leading to the formal installation of the Committee.
