E-MOVILIZA is working together with the companies to provide consolidation space that meets their concerns and needs.
In exploration of joining efforts, E-MOVILIZA recently met with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) to explore synergies with the MoVer project. This collaboration will be key as we plan the next steps for joint implementation.
Additionally, a presentation to the Electric Company of Quito addressed progress in charging infrastructure, highlighting both existing capabilities and ongoing studies. The project team also met with CORPORENT to discuss current renting and leasing schemes, exploring potential opportunities for electric vehicle adoption. Furthermore, a visit to the “Manuela Sáenz” Environmental Education and Management Center underscored the importance of involving the waste management sector and grassroots recyclers in the project.
E-MOVILIZA is working in the strategy of stakeholder engagement, consultation and communication to define the appropriate mechanisms, and with that, to achieve a conjoined and participative implementation. A survey was made to identify the common communication channels by the interested parties, while another survey was designed to identify gender inclusion challenges and the current initiatives taken to address the current gender gap in the transport sector.
